Information We Collect
Photos You Upload
When you use the AI Beauty Mirror or Product Scanner, you upload a photo (a selfie or a photo of a product). These photos are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude AI service for real-time analysis. We do not store your photos on our servers. After analysis, the photo is discarded.
Email Address (Optional)
If you choose to save your routine or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We pass this to Mailchimp, which manages our email list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address.
Locally-Stored Data
Your Skin Tracker data — daily logs, progress photos, products you've added, badges earned, streaks — is stored only in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. If you clear your browser data, this information is permanently lost.
Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site. This includes anonymized data like pages visited, time on site, device type, and general location (country/region level). We do not use analytics to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the features you request (skin analysis, product recommendations, etc.)
- To send you newsletter emails if you've subscribed

Our API keys and sensitive credentials are stored in secure environment variables and never exposed in client-side code. FaceCutie is operated from the United States. If you are using our services from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.
